So now I've highlighted my hair. Twice. You can imagine I hate that highlighting-cap/hat/thing that you have to get your hair into. I hate it hate it hate it! Even though I kindof enjoy it. But I am not going further into that.

Anyway. This is stage two of what will become - I guess - one houndred. Sooo.... bare with me peeps!

This was after my first highlighting-round. Not so much difference as you may see.

Second time around A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENCE! No just kidding. But I am more orange than red now, so that is cool.

And here I am, thinking about all those thousands of hours I've spent today, getting my hair into that hat/cap/thingy. Twice.

So I figured I should really name this project. Since it'll be happening for some time now, and I'm gonna talk a bit about it... Soooo I'm deciding RIGHT NOW to call it: "Supahawesomehairdo-project!" yeah, that sounds cool and adult enough.

So today, on the Supahawesomehairdo-project, I took the first step. Cutting my hair (in my eyes) supershort! It got a bit shorter than expected, but I like it. It feels so good to be short, it is yeeeeaaaars since last time.

Yesterday we went out, as you might have noticed on my last (kindof drunk) post.

Well, it's not so much, but I took some pictures of the day and night and morning. Though only of me and Charlotte.

We found Rolf outside of my apartment. Rolf is obviously 30 years old today.

I just had to take a picture of one of the "booth's" in one of the bars we were in. It's called jailhouse, and everything was themed as a jail. Even the bartenders wore police-costumes. Bloody awesome if you ask me.

Yup, my new name for the evening. I went out with my beautiful friend, Charlotte, and absolutely everybody went to hit on her. So I was just the friend that had to stand beside them, looking awkwardly in the other direction and pretending to be someone cool. But I did get some girls coming up to me, telling me how cool I looked with my new cool top. And I did feel very much like Liza Minelli throughout the whole evening. So I figured we should go to a gaybar, just so I could get some attention as well. Two seconds into the nearest gaybar, my friend went to the toilet, and I got myself two new friends. SCORE, Liza Camilli! So I got like two swedish friends and one danish, looking more like a girl in his behaviour (never seen a man pout his lips THAT hard before), and some toilet-best-friends-for-life. Then we went further on our quest for a good time out on town, but that was all just a bummer for me, cause it was all straight guys, and Liza Camilli just don't really function on the straight ones. So next time - more cleveage and less glitter. Though, I felt like a superstar nonetheless. Just look at all that glitter! So worth it!

It took me a while to see it. Moving to another country is harder than what you think, there are so many things you didn't really think of would happen. "Oh I'll find friends easy, as soon as I get work, everything will work out". False, baby! Loads more is needed for that to kick in. Loads more is needed for most of it. The language-barriar, the misunderstandings, the meeting of people, trying to make connections and friends. I am surviving now. It was hard at first, a month ago I felt like just giving up and go die, I admit it. But now I feel I understand it all. I won't live here for the rest of my life. Maybe not even for the rest of the year. But the amount of learning I have done is worth it all. And it is not so much on learning how to survive moving on your own to another country, it is more that I have learned so goddamn much about myself. I know more who I am now. I know more what to do with my art. Yes, I am being bold enough to selfproclaim myself as an artist now. I have an (pretty expensive) education in an artistic field, and I have the artist-blood in me from birth. I have maybe not totally found my way of taking pictures just yet, but I have found that drive to it. After months of little friends and a lot of alone-time I have started going back to scratch, remembering how this all started. My roommate does this thing where she just does something, kindof without thinking, just feeling, and it ends up being great. Like, she is out on town, and has her really easy compact camera and takes pictures. She sees something on her way home or whatever, a light in the street, and just... you know... click the button and goes home. THAT is the thing I have been missing the last couple of years. Just that thing right there - doing something by feelings and not by thought and calculation. That is what I have to do with my pictures - my art, to make it good, make it something I can be proud of saying is mine. My feelings have to overrule my logic, and then I just have to let it explode out into something watchable.

Copenhagen has learned me this. This city is more feelings than thoughts. No doubt. The art here is overwhelming. Or maybe it just is in this apartment, I'm not sure yet. But I do sure not regret moving here anymore.

My friend from school, Åsta, drawed this (more beautiful things on her tumblr), and I miss sitting next to her in class and just watch as she scribbles her way through boring classes.

I miss a lot with school these days. Just the familiar and expected with my surroundings. The relaxed feeling of having people you know around you, and you know you aint going anywhere for the next year or two anyway, so you can just relax even more, not thinking about what to do next.

Now everything is the opposite. And even though it is the best situation and feeling in the world, it's also the scariest.

Selfportrait of the week (no it will not be a thing. I promise).

Am trying to make myself a little studio here in the apartment for a shoot tomorrow. We will have sunlight and black backgrounds and wet hair and a beautiful model! I am really looking forward to this shoot, I think it'll be a blast!

And I am also hoping that my roommate don't get home just as we are working, because I am kindof using her room and it kindof looks messy here right now (she is outatown and unavailable at the moment, so I haven't asked her for permission to use her room, EHE!).

Yesterday I went out with Julie to a bar in Nørreport. It all sounds kindof like a funny story, so I'll just give you the short summary of it all. We ended up with the whole group of people that worked there, and got shots and beer from the owner of the place, while we played a game called "Maya" (still not sure how it goes, I lost every time). And laughed and talked 'till late at night.

This night was a great example that life is cool.

I have loads of pictures from the night, but since I don't really know those we hang out with, I'm just keeping the picture-posting very basic. Me before leaving home, all made up and ready to get drunk.

After months with a room that just doesn't feel like me, I think I finally have figured it out. I've been sort of waiting for the money to buy myself some shelfs and frames and all that stuff, but have finally giving in on the fact that I'm just not gonna get that rich any day soon. SO I did the next best thing, trying to come up with other solutions to it all. And while I were at it today, I made myself some nice dinner and even drank some wine too, while watching Tv. I love days like these. Sometimes it's nice to be home alone. But only sometimes.

My new and mindblowing cool shelf for my flower. Yes, it is made out of my twilight-books and star wars-videos and witch-pockets, and yes I am that type of girl that reads and owns all the twilight-books. Get over it, haters! By the way, to the left there, is a painting I'm working on. Artsy Fartsy room indeed-o!

My safari-dress and Tunisia-hat (a gift from Karianne this summer) used as a substitute for the pictures I'm not having on my walls.

The one big nice thing I have up on my wall, is this map. I got it from Sarah in a christmas-gift, and I love it. You scratch off all the places you've been in the world, like a scratch coupon. I'm not done yet, still some scratching to do (the world is so big you know, so even if the map is big, the countries are small and you have to scratch carefully not to bump into some random place you've never even heard of). So don't laugh at me for thinking that I've only been to like scandinavia and Great Britain you know.

Each year me and Karianne has this tradition of getting together our gang of friends and celebrate christmas together. With everything that christmas eve has to offer. This year was no exception.

Kindof lame christmaspicture of me there, but the striking coincidence of red and green around (and on) me was to big to not notice and do something about. I were also meant to bring my cat along for the picture, but she is too much of a queen to even let me hold her. So instead of a cosy and christmas-y "here is me and my cat saying merry christmas"-picture, I ended up scarred (the really bad ones that are swollen and never seem to stop hurting. Stupid cat.) and with a lame half-smile on my lonely christmas-picture.

Selfportrait of me this morning.
And in two days my morning will be pure perfection, waking up next to Karianne and laughing from the second we wake up. We do that every time. I miss her so much every day. Everybody talks about long-distance relationships with boyfriends, but OH MY the friendship-part is a thousand times worse if you ask me!

Tomorrow night I'm leaving Copenhagen to go home for Christmas. And I look so much forward to it, I don't really know where to put my feet today. I try to make the day run fast by drinking loads of coffee (always gets me c-c-crazy) and singing along to Adele. My neighbours must hate me, I don't really do it half-hearted when I'm home alone ("we could have had it aaaAAAAA-AAAAAAAALL!!!!").

Turning One Year Younger

Yesterday my sweet roomie Shirin celebrated her birthday with great food (I regret I didn't take pictures of it. But would maybe not get that many photos of them anyway, since we used like thirty seconds to eat it all up. It was so unbelieveably delicious) and great music. And I met a whole bunch of beautiful and funny girls! Such fun, oh. I like birthdays (except from my own. They never seem to get right. Ever.)

Yesterday was one of those days that just start out nice. Nothing special happened, I just woke up and felt good you know. I made myself a really nice breakfast and watched some sex and the city (And some New Girl later on, which by the way makes me laugh so hard that I cry and want to womit at the same time). And after a nice and slow breakfast, I took the subway to the inner city and went photoshoot-clothe-shopping with my stylist for this week (that almost made me sound like a photographer-douche. Haha nice). It was pretty cool. I found myself two vintagedresses that I want so much it hurt to get out of the store. I am SO saving up money for them. And I have to loose two dress-sizes, but that is OKAY! THEY ARE WORTH IT!

So lately I've been kinda away from the internet (for like... being me). I have finally gotten a lot of hours at work, which means no time for play and all adult stuff like work every day and paying bills and eating noodles (which is maybe more like a student-thing, but oh BOY nobody really talks that much about that time AFTER your student-life and you have like a quadrillion dollahs in educational loans and hard to get a job (okayokayokay, I might not have chosen the best carreer to make it in. But still) and struggle to get it right in oh so many ways. But now it is all okay. Now I have work and hopefully I'll get a lot of money next sallary and then I will be like yay happydance you know.

Luckily, all my workinghours are like type-o "working nine to five(whaaat a way to make a LIVING)"-ish, so I'll get home in the right time of day. Which means I have time to come up with fancy ideas for shoots and stuff. So here is my moodboard for one of my two forthcoming shoots these next couple of days before I leave Copenhagen and go home for some christmas-y weeks.

I have faith in this one. I really really do! This might just be "the one" (once again I want to push on the fact that I don't need a boyfriend because I have fashion). The one that will hold me thight and say that everything is gonna be allright-"you are beautiful Camilla. Just the way you are".

Okay, enough random-talk from me now. I'll post more as soon as there is something to post. Hopefully it'll be soon. I am dying a littlebit more inside for each day I don't do pictures. Oh jeeses that is bad.

I ran around the whole day yesterday, cleaning and washing and making the apartment pretty and christmas-y. Not all that much christmas-y though, it is still not december (I am the christmas-nazi. You aint doing anything christmas-y in front of me before december comes, babes. That is just wrong!). But it was the first day of advent and then you have to do a little. And make a advent wreath (which it obviously is called on wikipedia even though I've never heard of it). But since I have like ZERO money right now, I had to make it myself. So yesterday, I waited 'till it got dark and ran out with my scissors and gloves and cut branches off of my neighbour's trees. I felt like the optimal creep! (Here is a victory-picture of myself afterwards)

And this resulted in a really cute and FREE "advents wreath" (still fells wrong dude). Okay, the candles wasn't free but that is like... kinda obvious you know.

Seven photobooth-pictures of myself. Sometimes I wish cameras could be as easy and careless as the photobooth-pictures. No details, no fuss, just a picture. Though always of me in this case, but if I could make pictures with models like this, just as easy and carefree, I would. Am actually concidering making a shoot with a similar-in-easyness camera, the compact film-camera I use to take random pictures with. Just to sort of strip away everything "fancy" (the little fancy that my OH SO idioticly old and disturbingly bad camera I have as a "professional" one, can make. Oh god, how is it I still have a Canon 400D. And I call myself a photographer - shame on me!).

This weekend I took a trip to London to visit Sarah. It was one of the best trips I've had ever. And yes everybody, I actually DO love London. So this weekend I went up to Trondheim to see friends and go to a big photo-party (my old school has this annual thing where they get big photographers to have exhibitions and classes. And at the last day of it all, we all party all night long. Of course).

Even though I was almost literally running from friend to friend for four days straight, I did have an amazing time. So many amazing friends, I wish I could have more time to see them all.

Oh my god I love you all (and mom, if you are feeling neglected, you are considered as one of my friends)!!

This is Sivert and Karianne. They are the best couple I ever know of. The night I took this picture they had their four-year-anniversary. When I was on my way to get out the door, I found them like this. Four years and they still act like they just met. I have so many wonderful stories about these two. They are my inspiration. They remind me that love like that exist.

Went home to my (other) best friend. We had a nice night out drinking hot chokolate and looking at strange drunk people. And ended the night lying in bed watching a movie like the movie-freeks we are (it was a documentary filmed with the best and newest camera-equipment. We were like "wooooooow check that high-res-picture OUT!" But what can you do. I'm a photographer and he's studying to become a movie-director ((or something)). We are bound to jizz in our pants over something like that).

On saturday it was party-time! Åsta, Henrik and me at a pre-party.

Ceveral shoots these next couple of weeks, it will be some busy days ahead. And I've had the best four days of my life both when it comes to my personal life (which will be mentioned later) and my professional.

Am in contact with ceveral stylists and designers and model agencies. And I've gotten some couple of other messages that made me so happy that I, in the end, didn't know how to react. I just got so many positive messages at once that I just ended up laughing instead of dancing (which I usually do when I'm happy about something).

Went on a flea market today. For way little money I got a blouse, a dress, a frame and a showpiece. Yup, pretty satisfied with this day's shopping. Went in to find myself a new outfit for a party I'm going to in Trondheim in a week (I'm traveling home for four days to say hi to people I miss), and found three. Soooo yeah. Worth it. On these pictures I'm using both the dress and the showpiece (from Won Hundred btw). God I love it, I can't stop wearing it. Who needs a lover when you have clothes!

We went out way too late (hurmm I might be the reason for that... miss-take-a-shower-at-the-last-second-and-can't-find-clothes-afterwards), drank some beers and went home again. It was really nice and funny and it felt good just to be out somewhere else than in Vanløse (after I started working, that is mostly where I have been this week). Little happening, but loads of pictures - of course.

This song reminds me so much of something exciting. A mix of rainy days, kissing, the movie "Close Encounters of the Third kind" (which I haven't seen since I was little and feel so much of seeing again soon right now), other old but good sci fi-movies, diving into water with clothes on, driving in a car when it's dark outside, lie next to someone I like and feel pretty. All at once. You could say that I really like this song. Seriously strong sci-fi-vibe of it... But like... old sci-fi you know...Is it just me?

So the clock started ticking in on half twelve. And I was seriously closing in on boredome to death (The joy of being without friends you know). I started putting some random makeup on. I wanted to get rid of my brows for the night and I also wanted a gap between my teeth. And then I wanted seriously dark cheekbones and VOILA, I ended up with some selfportraits.

So another day with jobhunting is done. Good one today, even though I got the question "how old are you?". Again. Damn, I'm so looking forward to the day I look like I'm older than 15 (yup. you heard me. 15. On saturday I got stopped and not allowed to buy alcohol. And here you only have to be 16 to buy it. So I was like "... lady... I'm 21..." Jeez). Other than that - here are some pictures of the appartment. The parts that are finished and furnished enough to show at least.

This is me. I feel like the mirror sort of is positioned the wrong way. I always stand in the opposite direction of the daylight.

Shirin got some wall-sticker-thingy from her work some couple of days ago. So we got it up on the kitchen wall right away.

It made the kitchen look awesome!

And our blackboard by the door. Shirin tought me that the norwegian word "pul" (means fuck - pardon the french) is something the danish don't understand. So we tend to shout it out randomly out in the streets like someone with tourettes. We find it very amusing, I love it. The top there is censored because it contains the lyrics of a song we find pretty embarrasing to like. So you'll just have to wonder what on earth we have written there.

And finally, this is our bird. I've forgotten the name of him, but he sits in the window, looking cute for us every day.

This is how I looked today. Went outside feeling pretty good with nice hair and makeup and all that jazz. And walked out in the inner city of Copenhagen when it started to rain a little. I thought "oh well nothing to do about that, don't have an umbrella anyway, so I should just keep on walking". But all around me, people started running under roofs. And I'm like: no way hose, I'm not that much of a wus, but started getting a bit nervous - I was the only one walking out in the rain! And before I got to consider running under a roof myself, the whole damn sky opened up and SPLOSH, I was soaked in two seconds. I like rain and all that, but OH that was hardcore. So I went home and took pictures of myself. Of course, why wouldn't I? What else is there to do when you are soaked?

There is nothing special with the alfit and I'm not especially fashionmodel-y. But I'm posting them anyway.

Day Two

I don't really think I will keep this up every day. It was actually kindof hard to try to remember to take pictures all throughout the day today. Half of the things we did wasn't all that fun to photograph anyway though. Shirin and me did some neccesary stuff (signing the lease etc) and did a quick guided tour around the city centre. I felt like the biggest tourist ever. But it felt kinda nice to actually understand people more than I thought I would. But OH that does so not mean that I understood it all. Half of it has been me saying "huh?" and they saying "bobibabubi?" (that is what danish sounds like to me right now). Am looking forward to it being all understandable. Here are today's pictures:

Moving Day

So now I've moved to Copenhagen. I haven't experienced that much just yet since I came late yesterday and I had like a million ton of suitcases to carry. Plus I looked and smelled and felt like a toilet, so I just wanted to go home and take a shower (both me and Shirin smiled and laughed when I said "home" yesterday. It is a wonderful feeling!).

I have sort of promised some people I know that I would try to do a more "what I do on a daily basis"-blog from now on. So that they have some clue on what I'm doing down here. So here is yesterday in pictures (in black and white. Because yesterday was both black/sad and white/happy. Shirin found that out yesterday hehe):

In the morning when I haven't started stressing and lifting, my hair had curls for some reason. And one curl was really cute.

Karianne came with me to the airport. I struggled not to cry the whole time (we both gave up in the end when people started going onboard. Cried like a baby on the flight. And yes, it was embarassing).

Karianne likes to express her feelings. I like it.

We weren't really sure if Karianne (which didn't have a ticket) were allowed to get all the way through the gates. We ended up behind the duty free in the end. We still don't know if she really were allowed...

I looked like shit. And felt worse. And that was only halfway. I still needed to drag those darn suitcases a long way after that.

And here I am. My room is big and pretty, the appartment is perfect, and my bed is big (something I've missed for a long time!). There is nothing more to see right now, since things are really messy and unorganized. But will post apartmentpictures as soon as everything is fixed!

Two days until I'm moving. So I've started on packing down my life (again). This time it's loads more tricky, since I have to downscale it to only three suitcases (HOW ON EARTH WILL I MANAGE THAT?!). Aaaanywhoooos. I tried to drink up most of my alcohol yesterday, since I don't have any space to bring it with me. But oh how I failed. I just have too much stored! So today I figured I would open my bottle of red whine. It's pretty good. And I love my look right now, it's so shabby it's almost cool. Standing in my bathrobe and drinking red whine from the bottle. And listening to Jamie Woon.

The Jamie Woon-part might not be so shabby. That's just nice.

Sailor me Up

Last time I was in London, I found this old sailor-"jacket" (in lack of other words-let's not blame it on the braineating vodka I had last night) in a vintage-store. And the best thing is, it fits me perfectly! So today, when it is raining, I will wear this and be superhappy since I am being superwarm and look supercool.

I really hope the sun won't come out today though, cause then I'll melt away in a second. This jacket is the warmest thing EVER!

As mentioned earlier, I had a pretty awesome day a week-ish ago. And finally I've gotten the pictures from it. Now I have proof for actually having a life! That's cool.

Henrik and Sascha playing pool. Right there I thought "this summer is really nice!"

Me and Sascha won. Only because I was on the team of course!!

Then we ditched Sascha and went to the cinema to see Captain America. It was really good, we were satisfied and then me and Henrik went to a restaurant to get something to eat and drink. There we met Tina and later on, Siril also came.

It was one of the best nights I've had this summer. (Tina is holding up a gift she got from Henrik. She loves Elvis, so she was pretty happy)

I found a movie I thought I'd lost years ago, when I was packing down things yesterday. It's a japaneese movie about two girls (both called Nana) meeting on a train and end up living together, having (of course) trouble in their love life. But I just love their friendship and how it is shown in the movie. It is so beautiful! Kindof a chickflick and kindof a bit strange, but oh so worth watching.

The new Class

For those of you that is not in my closest group of friends and family, should know that my best friend (also known as my sister on facebook. Yeah we did that. And we're not embarrased) is this girl. We started taking pictures when we were fourteen-ish, in the woods with a digital compact camera and we felt like we rocked it pretty hard. These small photoshoots has ended up in us both being photographers. Because of various reasons, Karianne (that's the girls' name) couldn't go to the school at the same time as me, but now, when I am finished - she got in on the best photographyschool in the world (yeah. I said it. With bold text). So then I am, of course, obliged to join her on all the things they do before I leave to Copenhagen. And even though it is kindof sad and embarassing to tag along on things I've already done two years ago, I kindof liked it. I even got in on their first class with inspirational talking and pictures. So now I have that inspirationboost I miss so much from being on school. So... Score! Here are some pictures from the last few weeks with tag-alonging:

Oh my lord, I am so excited and terrified and oh oh so many feelings at one time I don't know what to think. But I feel this will be good. Had nothing to do, and the weather was nice, so I jumped on the bike and dragged Karianne with me out in the woods. And for the first time in (yes it is kindof embarrassing to say it) months, I used my digital camera. Need to buy myself a new one though. It shouldn't be allowed to call yourself a photographer and still only have Canon 400D (for those not in the know of what is what in the camera-world, a Canon 400D is like a dinosaur that isn't even cool and old. It's just old. And so irritatingly bad).

If I had something more interesting to post than photobooth-pictures of myself, I so totally would.

But since I haven't touched my digital camera for months, the picture-proofs of my life get a bit delayed (since they are all analouge).

Went bowling today, and then I went to the cinema with some friends, and after that again, we went out on a restaurant and just sat outside, eating, drinking and just had a really good time. I took pictures, so that'll come later. I still have like eight pictures left on my camera, so it'll take some time before it comes. I should start using my digital camera. Or at least something less easy. I soon wouldn't know what shutter and aperture is if I keep this up hah.

Was a makeup-model today for my aunt as well, and figured I could just have the makeup on for the evening. It looked really good and I learned loads (well that's not so hard, considering my expertice in the area already. "Eyeliner-check. A little rouge-check. Mascara-DONE!").

But now I have to go to bed. Am going to work tomorrow morning hah.
